Sports Impact Alliance, a new fundraising initiative to be launched at the SportXPartnership Forum
The SportXForum Partnership Edition will launch the Sports Impact Fund and Alliance (SIFA), a new way for sports clubs, federations, academies, foundations, and other organisations to attract sponsors and raise funds.
The SIFA brings organisations together to pool their social media followers, making it easier for brands to advertise across all members’ platforms.
Members will simply post approved advertising and sponsor content, while the SIFA manages the rest, including fair revenue distribution based on verified follower counts.
SIFA membership will be free to all approved entities.
According to convener Gerrit Davids of Gerom Media, Sports & Entertainment: “The Sports Impact Fund and Alliance (SIFA) is not a membership organisation, but a platform created for clubs, federations, foundations, academies, and other entities to find new ways to raise funding, collaborate on their programmes, and make them more sustainable. With the rapid changes in technology, SIFA will make extensive use of AI tools to support fundraising and collaboration.”
Football hero Mark Williams, media personality OG Molefe, and a host of other sports development thought leaders will also speak at the Forum on the growing importance of collaboration in a rapidly changing world.
Williams will also launch his Foundation’s annual golf day, as well as a forthcoming national tour celebrating 30 years since the famous AFCON victory. The tour is scheduled for June–July 2026, during the FIFA World Cup, and will partner with local community programmes.
The Forum will also serve as a premier networking platform, giving delegates the opportunity to introduce themselves and reconnect with industry peers.
