SportX Rankings™ Motorsports Edition to Be Revealed at the End of the Year
It has been annnounced that on 3 December 2026, the world's leading motorsport races, race circuits and host cities will discover how they compare on the global stage when SportX Rankings™ unveils its inaugural Motorsports Edition.
For the first time, motorsport races, circuits and host cities will be measured through a single independent global ranking based on verified online ratings, fan reviews and earned online editorial media performance.
Unlike traditional awards programmes, there are no nominations, judging panels or public voting, with every ranking determined exclusively through independently verified data to ensure a transparent, objective and credible global benchmark.
Organisations will receive either a Platinum, Gold, Silver or Bronze ranking, with the top performers crowned as the World's Leading Motorsport Race, World's Leading Racing Circuit and World's Leading Motorsport Host City. Similar regional rankings will also recognise the top performers from the Americas, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
It was also announced that the SportX Event Tourism Forum, a one-day conference bringing together sports event organisers, host cities, sponsors and other stakeholders to share best practices and innovation in event destination marketing, will be held on the same day.
According to Gerrit Davids, Founder and Director of SportX Rankings™, "While we are excited about launching the rankings, we have not yet decided on the host city to partner with us for the announcement ceremony and the forum. We hope to make an announcement once we have secured a partner."
