SportX Forum to Gather South Africa's Sports Sponsorship and Marketing Leaders
South Africa’s sports events sector will take centre stage during the 2026 series of SportX Forum Live in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban, bringing together event organisers, sponsors, brands, agencies and industry experts to discuss the trends, opportunities and partnerships shaping the future of the sports events industry.
The event will bring together event organisers, sponsors, brands, agencies and industry experts to explore what works in this ever-evolving sports ecosystem and examine the trends, partnerships and strategies shaping its future.
Hosted by Gerom Media, Sports and Entertainment (Pty) Ltd, the event was first held in 2012 as the Sponsorship Indaba and has evolved into a platform for industry stakeholders to connect, share knowledge and explore the opportunities shaping the future of sports event sponsorship and marketing in South Africa.
As the sports industry continues to evolve, organisations are under increasing pressure to deliver measurable commercial outcomes, create meaningful fan experiences, attract investment and build sustainable partnerships. SportX Forum Live will address these challenges through discussions on commercial partnerships, sponsorship strategy, brand engagement, fan and audience development, content and media, digital innovation, sports tourism, event marketing, revenue generation, research and insights.
