Cape Town: 13 July 2018
After a sold-out Sports Connect Sponsorship Forum, held recently in Johannesburg, this edition will also feature top industry experts and sports administrators sharing their thought leadership on Sponsorship with our guests.
Sports Connect will kick-off at 07h30 with a Speed Networking Session wherein delegates will introduce themselves to South Africa’s premier Sponsorship and Media Agencies, and it’s an ideal event for sponsorship seekers inclusive of event organisers, clubs and federations respectively, to connect with these intermediaries and punt their sponsorship proposals.
Another exciting key feature of the Forum will be a panel discussion on the imminent ban on alcohol advertising and how it will impact on sports sponsorship and in particular outdoor events as well as the industry at large.
Sports organisations are encouraged to be proactive and engage with the marketing industry on the potential impact of the ban, which is seen as a major threat to the survival of sport in a major way.
One of South Africa’s leading sponsor experts will also will unpack a Sponsorship Proposal Template, as a guide on how to draft effective sponsorship proposals.
Sponsorship Agencies will as usual feature in a highly interactive panel discussion to debate the current trends in the sponsorship and marketing arena.
A Sponsorship Masterclass will follow the Breakfast on how to Draft and Negotiate Winning Sponsorship Proposals.
Our expert facilitators will share with our delegates as to what Sponsors want and how to structure sponsorship proposals to meet the sponsor’s expected Return on Investment (ROI) and Return on Objectives (ROO) respectively.
Delegates will also be afforded the opportunity to submit One-Page Sponsorship Proposals, which will be evaluated by our experts for further follow up.
Can you afford to miss Sports Connect?
A Sponsorship Proposal Database will also be launched after the event to give participating organisations further exposure to an extensive list of key decision-makers.
