The Football Player Exchange will be a specially covened Forum for football agents, clubs and academies to network and promote players for transfer as well as hosting the 2nd meeting of the African Football Intermediaries Association (AFIA) to structure the way forward for football agents on the continent.
The Football Player Exchange will feature presentations from well known and international experts and agents on the business of representing players under the FIFA Intermediaries Regulations as well as debating commercial strategies through image rights and other branding endorsements.
Speed Networking Sessions: Sell your Players!
All Agents & Academies attending the Forum will be able to “Speed Network” with the clubs and other their colleagues in attendance and this will certainly be the highlight of the Exchange. The one-on-one meetings will give football agents and academies the perfect opportunity to introduce their player roster to club representatives who are attending the Football Forum.
Agents and Academies are encouraged to load the video’s of their players on tablets and smart devices to be showed during these meetings. The organisers will also publish a “Players Directory” featuring agents and profiles of players on their books. The “Directory” will be distributed at the Football Africa Forum as well as online.
Second Meeting of the African Football Intermediaries Association (AFIA)
The AFIA was launched on 11 February 2016 in Johannesburg, South Africa and we are planning to have a follow-up meeting during the Football Player Exchange. Agents who have not yet signed up for AFIA should consider attending this meeting. Kindly note that this meeting will be a separate event and further details to follow.
